My name is Diya Sudarsanan, and I have always had a love for art since my childhood. However, it wasn't until 2019 that I decided to invest in studying and pursuing art more seriously. As a hobby artist, I would create small watercolour floral paintings, mostly relying on YouTube tutorials for guidance.
But I soon realized that if I wanted to truly excel in watercolour and gain the confidence to paint any subject, I needed a structured approach. I wanted to create professional-level paintings and have the knowledge and skills to share my passion with others. Moreover, I dreamt of turning my love for art into a profession and earning from it.
That's when I discovered the course 'Mastering Watercolour Realism,' and I knew it was the perfect fit for my needs. The course was incredibly intensive and well-structured, allowing me to learn a plethora of concepts in a relatively short span of time. It went beyond teaching me just technical skills; it also addressed my mindset and helped me overcome limiting beliefs that were holding me back from becoming a professional artist.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this course was the project painting. It pushed me to tackle challenging subjects and complete them without relying on someone else's demonstration. This exercise allowed me to grow as an artist and gain the confidence to make my own decisions during the painting process.
In addition to teaching the fundamental concepts of watercolour, what made Mam's involvement in this course truly impactful was her role as a mentor. She was there to guide and encourage me, pushing me to take the right actions and helping me correct my mindset and thought processes.
I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn watercolour in a structured and efficient manner. If you're looking to build a strong foundation and aspire to become a professional watercolour artist, this course is a must. It will not only equip you with the necessary technical skills but also instill in you the confidence to pursue your artistic dreams.
